About Myself:-
I live on the outskirts of Southampton, right on the edge of the New Forest.
By day I used to work (well, get paid) by a well know telecommunications company (no names - no pack drill, you understand, wild horses wouldn't drag it out of me, but here's a clue TB anag.!)

At night, and at weekends I'm a retained fire fighter, responding to my local fire station, a couple of hundred yards down the road, when called in by bleeper.
Whilst not at work, or out on a fire call, I'm in the process of doing up my sixty year old house, along with adding a certain degree of home automation. FAIR WARNING: the linked pages are only of interest the the "anorak" section of the home automation community!!!!

The Genny set is part of a much bigger ongoing project, that of our self build project on the Island of Kefalonia. This page will show you the progress so far of the architects plans.
Flacks Folly (Little) has been the most recent project to date. It amounts to a caravan on the land, with a canopy roof over the hard standing, and a temporary wooden built bathroom in one corner. We will be using this as a holiday home until we get to move over there permanantly, and when we have this will be home until such times as the house is built to a habitable stage! Such bile and bitterness, my hero! Makes Victor Meldrew look laid back and saintly!

Mum and Dad. Dad is far too tight to fork out the money to get ADSL, and Mum wouldn't let him anyway! There is little chance of them downloading this at high speed. Mim and Steve, my little sister and her Object of Afflictions. I must not forget to mention the startings of their little dynasty! Which is not so little any more, though it may not increase from now on, they have bought a television!!!!

Garfield, AKA Richard. Became know as Garfield, 'cause he was fat (well fatter than I was, Ah, those were the days!!!) lazy and liked lasagna! Another one that used to work as one of the "Labeled Loonies" for good old "Big Blue" at Hursley, Hampshire. He's got even lazier now, and retired!
Jez, an old school friend, now a very uncivil engineer, working, as he does, with effluent. It might be s*** to you and me, but it's bread and butter to him! Now living and working in the USA.

08/09/02, along with the general tidying up of information, picture of the wetroom added. Also temporary news section added for the parents who are on holiday, should not be there for too long!
28/05/07 Flack's Folly building pictures added. Seems like a long time since I updated this site, according to the updates list. Minor updates have been made, just not logged.
